Board of Trustees

Name: Tiffany Nyiri
Position: Chairman
Term: 07/01/2014 - 06/30/2017
Occupation: Real Estate Broker-Loan Officer
Comments: Corona has been my home since 1973 and I was raised to give back to my community and what a wonderful city we have to give back to! I currently sit on the board for Project Kids, a non profit that works along side the Corona Police department to help children.  Another passion of mine are the services and programs delivered by Corona Public Library.  Like so many people in our city, I have wonderful memories of and a love for this library.  This has led me to lend my time as a member of the Board of Trustees.

Occupation: Director of Marketing

Comments: The Library is a place for children and adults to become engaged.  I am proud to be associated with this organization and will continue to support the Library Board, Director and staff in carrying out the already successful library programs and the library's role in the community as a center for information, culture, recreation and lifelong learning.

Name: Anna Coriddi Meza
Position: Trustee
Term: 10/2015 - 06/2018
Education: Riverside Community College, AS Degree
University of California, Riverside, Major: Public Policy
Comments: My family moved to Corona in 1981, when I was twelve years old.  From a chid and an adult perspective, I have watched the public library evolve and expand their services to meet the needs of a fast-growing community.

As a volunteer, I am dedicated to meeting the needs of children in our communtiy.  I am currently serving as the 2015-2017 President for Corona-Norco Council of PTAs; I am responsible for providing oversight to the 44 units throughout CNUSD.  I believe my relationship with PTA would be an asset to the Library Board of Trustees as my position allows me to work directly with parents and students to identify enrichment programs that would continue to add value to our library.

Occupation: Retired-Teacher/Associate Professor
Education: BS-Elementary Education

Comments: "Our family has lived and served in our community since moving here from Connecticut over 45 years ago.  Both my husband, Jerry, and I were teachers in the Corona-Norco Unified School District.  We also owned and operated manufacturing businesses within Corona for many years.  Not only was I a teacher here, but I also volunteered my time to serve for many organizations within Corona where I served in various capacities from committee chairman to President.

I have been past president of:  Friends of the Corona Library, Soroptimists of Corona, Woman's Improvement Club (Triple M) and various PTA Organizations.

I believe my presence on the Board of Trustees can provide an additional point of view based on experience in the private and public sector."

Name: Don Williamson
Position: Trustee
Term: 07/2015 - 06/2018
Education:

Brigham Young University, B.A.

Comments: I am a 55 year resident of Corona that attended local schools from Kindergarten through graduation from Corona Senior High School.  My first library experiences occurred in the children's basement section of the Corona's Carnegie Library.   I have watched Corona evolve from a small agriculture based economy to the dynamic business and residential center it is today.

Along with schools, our library is the most important institution in town.  It is essential for both the primary and continuing education of all who enter...As a frequent visitor, I am familiar with the library's valuable role in our community.  It is a pleasure to work with our library's dedicated staff  to encourage all citizens to participate in our many learning opportunities.
